Time has been exceeding the speed-limit without us noticing, and here we are in October. My focus over the last few months has mainly been with our NPO Trust. AnimalTalk Africa Trust’s work get’s done quietly in the background with not much fanfare. A lot of it is advocacy work, guided by the wildlife who we are wanting to protect. It is time consuming and sometimes heart-breaking, so we need to look after our own energies, making sure there is a good dose of JOY to keep us going.
Last month, in preparation for a Table Mountain Rights gathering, the Baboons took me to a blustery Cape Point Nature Reserve for a breath of joy, and to make sure their message was heard.

Our web-mistress, Trisha, has been hard at work adding audio lessons for the Introduction to Animal Communication Course. Now, instead of having to read through each module, you can press play, and listen. With the pace of life speeding up, and the amount of screen time everyone is having to allow for, this innovation will definitely help those whose eyes are crying out for a break. Having said that, Trisha also advises that many people can absorb more knowledge by doing both at the same time – following the words whilst listening. Please try it out and let us know how you prefer to engage in the learning.
