Webinar – H.E.A.R.T. for Farm Animals
in support of the Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary Heart Energy Achieving Real Transformation
On our way back to Cape Town, Simon and I stopped over at Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary. As we stepped through the gate we were greeted by the sounds of happy pigs snuffling, and sheep bleating.
The sanctuary, situated just outside the picturesque village of Greyton in South Africa, is home to over 150 rescued farm animals. Most of them come to the sanctuary from farmers where they have been bred for meat and lived in terrible conditions.
The feelings that I received from Mini, and a few other of the rescued pigs when I started to communicate with them, were ones of overwhelming gratitude. Never before had they been able to experience the gentle touch and love from humans who truly care about them as individual beings.
Nicola Vernon, founder of the Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary is an inspiration. Her work is so much more than giving sanctuary to farm animals in need. She has many other projects and programmes that tie-in with the whole, including running the vegan cafe in Greyton employing and educating local residents. And she is doing so much to help transform the farming industry into something healthy and fulfilling for all beings.
